Our 14ct gold vermeil jewellery is made with a sterling silver base coated in a substantial 2.5 micron layer of 14ct gold. This thicker layer of gold makes vermeil a more durable alternative to standard gold-plated jewellery, while giving you the look of solid gold at a more accessible price. Like all gold vermeil, the finish can gradually wear over time. How quickly this happens depends on how often a piece is worn, your individual skin chemistry and what the jewellery comes into contact with. Looking after your jewellery carefully can help preserve the gold finish for longer.
Keep gold vermeil away from water
Remove your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming. Chlorine, salt water and repeated exposure to water and soaps can affect the gold finish over time.
Avoid perfume, lotions and beauty products

Our sterling silver jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, containing 92.5% pure silver.
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish as it reacts with air, moisture and substances in its surroundings. This is a normal characteristic of sterling silver and doesn’t mean your jewellery is damaged.
How to clean sterling silver
If your sterling silver begins to look dull or tarnished, gently polish it with a soft cloth designed for sterling silver. This can help restore its shine and remove light tarnishing.
Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface of the jewellery.
Protect sterling silver from chemicals
Remove your jewellery before swimming and before using household cleaning products. Chlorine and harsh chemicals can affect sterling silver and may accelerate tarnishing.
