Sustainability
Sustainability is a core value of our brand. We created our jewellery to be long lasting and designed for everyday for this reason.
Our current sustainability efforts:
- Longevity (product design): We use the highest quality materials and with the right care, they will last for years and years. We also try to create jewellery that is 'on trend' but also that you will still want to wear in years to come.
- Recycled metals: Recycled metals are used by our manufacturers throughout production. In order to reduce waste and close the loop, we recycle damaged, broken and faulty items. Recycled metals are of the same quality as newly mined metals but with a lower carbon footprint. All of the sterling silver and gold plating, used in our gold vermeil pieces, are all made with 100% recycled gold and silver.
- Recycled packaging materials: Our packaging boxes and jewellery boxes are recyclable and are both made using FSC-certified cardboard
- Production: We partner with Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) manufacturers in India. The Responsible Jewellery Council is a not-for-profit organisation setting sustainability standards for responsible business practices within the jewellery industry. Our production partners utilise recycled metals, ethically source gemstones and maintain good working standards in a safe environment.
